Yikes! Lightning is a TVs worst enemy, just ahead of flash floods, twisters, and pets that chew on electric cords.
If your set has suffered damage from a lightning strike, there could be any number of things that could have been zapped inside. You can check fuses and the like all day long, but it will most likely need a board or two replaced... if it's even repairable. Get a quote before you get it fixed.
If you bought an extended warranty, it may cover damage from lightning. At the very least, you dump it and file a claim with your homeowners insurance.
Thank you Matt Whitlock I figured that it was a lost cause.Even if there was a burned area or such on the chassis I figured I could fix it but I find nothing.There must be some kind of protection but I could not figure it out.Thanks again.
