I would greatly appreciate the manual on which bad capacitors to replace on my wd-52725 boards. it has the continuous blinking green light. my email [email protected] thanks
Larry Dillon said: NO, this is not the DM board. The DM board is encased in a shield. It is surrounded by a metal casing. Did you not receive the documents as well as the service manual to help you repair your TV set? Did you ask for them? Are you assuming the problem? Why don't we start from the beginning and you start out by telling me what the symptoms are, exactly please to the littlest detail, of your TV set. What have you done to try and correct this problem?

@TvJon - Larry Dillon has not really been here for a long while.. He pops in and makes a comment every once in awhile. You may want to read the last maybe 5 pages and see what the new updates are in this thread. The answer you wish is in there
@Leap - Why would we go to the trouble of sending you info or you do not go to the trouble of reading the last 5 pages. Lots of good information on them... Back about 7 pages ago I was just like you, lost with no information, so as I learned I taught others your answer is in the last 5 pages.
I have a Mitsu 52525. It seems to work fine, but it will suddenly go blank bright blue. No lines, circles, or anything. Sometimes it will be once a night, sometimes 2-4 times in 2 hours. There's no common time frame on how long between outages. When I press the on/off button on the remote or the front of the unit, the green light stays on until the screen shuts down, then flashes green for 1 minute until the unit goes off. I can then turn it back on with the button on the TV, or the remote, and it works normally, until we turn it off, or the next outage, whichever comes first. It's not related to any power outages, and I have it on a surge protector.
Any help would be appreciated. Email- [email protected]
@ Royalaul
Thats a new one for me, maybe someone else on this topic can help... But it really sounds like it is one of your boards going out. Is it the bright blue like when you go to the DVD setting but the DVD player isn't turned on?
Does it do it on all sources or just cable box or just DVD?
You may try to make sure all your connections are good, possibly change cables, tighten the connections, try different equiptment (if this problem only occurs on DVD try a different DVD player)...
I would think if it was a tv problem that it would be the board that controls those inputs...
You could also try going into the antenae menus and turn off video mute...
I have bit of differant problem than what I have seen. Since putting new lamp in, the set will come on, display a plaid looking screen and static sound. Seems to be recieving no signal from cable input. Using HDMI cable from cable box. Any ideas? Thanks< Doug C [email protected]
hello larry i take it you are the go to man for tv stuff, that is cook that you are doing that, i have the same problem with the power blinking light, could you please send me the info needed to repair the problem.
Ok I am sorry to say but I will be leaving the community, this topic is really driving me crazy as I have tried and tried to help people out, all I really ask is that if you post, at least read the last page or two, so you know what the topic is aobut now or see if someone recently have had a lot responses... How long has it been since Larry has actually sent these documents? I know I personally waited at least 2 weeks, before realizing he wasn't going to send them.. He is probably very busy and got tired of posting the same stuff over and over again like I am at....
entreri said: I have a question for you, on my power supply board my 6vs is giving me readings over 7v consistently. Shouldn't it be more near the 6.00 mark?
Well I am not sure about that... I think it is ok to be a little higher, but the important thing is that it is getting power...
Have you checked your caps? you may want to pm me if you want me to continue helping..
Can someone please email me the service manual for a WD-52525. "Blinking Light of Death" has taken over and I can't afford to have it repaired by someone else. [email protected]
I have replaced the cap on the DM board and power supply board. In reassembling the unit I found a spade connector that I can't remenber where it goes it originates on the power supply board at a connector labelled PR could you please tell me where this connects or send a picture with the location.
Hello! I had the infamous blinking green light of death a month ago. I changed the capacitors and everything was working fine. Now, I turned it on and there is no picture. Its a black background with colorful lines running up and down and the right side of the screen. The sound is perfectly clear. I unplugged the power cord to see if that wouldhelp, and then when I plug it in I get the blinking green light again. After a min or so it goes away and then I can turn the tv but with the black background and colorful lines. Anyone have any ideas on what can be wrong?
My wd-52525 just starting the blinking green light. can you send me the manual on getting the DM board out correctly, and without taking out too many screws (like a million!).
I have succesfully recently fixed a couple ws-55513 tv's by replacing the capacitors on dm boeard, so I am pretty confident with the soldering, just not taking the whole chassis apart. Thanks! [email protected]

Goes to the bright blue, like DVD setting, with DVD not on.
Doesn't matter what source, cable or DVD.
